Privacy Policy

The short version: CoachYard does not collect, store or share any personal data. There is no account and no tracking. Your videos stay on your phone, and nothing is uploaded.
This policy covers the CoachYard app for iPhone and Android and this website, coachyard.app. CoachYard is made by an independent developer. Contact: feedback@coachyard.app.
What the app collects
The current version of CoachYard collects nothing. It does not send any information to us or to anyone else, and it does not need an internet connection to work.
A future version will offer CoachYard Plus and show a few small ads to people using the free app. Before that version is released, this policy will be updated to explain exactly what the ad provider receives, and the app's privacy labels in the App Store and Google Play will change with it.
What the app uses on your phone, and why
Camera
Used only when you choose to record a swing inside the app. The app records video without sound and never asks for microphone access.
Photos and files
The app opens only the videos you pick yourself. On iPhone it can also save your recordings and the clips you choose to save to your Photos library; it asks for permission to add to Photos and does not read the rest of your library.
Storage inside the app
To let you pick up where you left off, the app keeps copies of the videos you load, your settings and your last comparison (such as sync points and drawings) in its own private storage on your phone. We cannot see any of it. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Sharing
When you tap SHARE, the app creates a picture or video clip and hands it to your phone's own share menu. You choose where it goes, for example a text message or email. What happens to it then is governed by the app you send it with. CoachYard does not send anything by itself.
Purchases
If CoachYard offers an in-app purchase, the payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see your name, card or payment details; the store only tells the app whether the purchase was made.
If you email us, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to improve the app, and we do not share them with anyone. Ask us at any time to delete your messages.
Children
CoachYard is meant for parents and coaches. The videos you record or load may show young players, but they stay on your phone and are never sent to us. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
This website
coachyard.app uses no cookies, analytics or tracking. Like any website, the hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the pages and protect against attacks.
Changes
If the app ever starts handling data differently, for example an optional online feature, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
